For kids martial arts is more than just fun. With Velocity Martial Arts After School Karate Program in Boca Raton/Pompano Beach, you'll find an emphasis is placed on life lessons; building character, indomitable spirit, respect, courtesy, perseverance, self-discipline and self-control. Just as these attributes will help young students in their martial practice, so too do they help them in other aspects of life, especially academics and social relationships. Armed with these skills, students are better prepared for all changes they may encounter as they begin their academic life, not to mention approach their teen years.

At Velocity Martial Arts, kids' programs are not only built for character development, but also martial proficiency. All three programs (Dragons, Tigers, and Juniors) are age-specific, addressing the unique needs of toddlers, children, and adolescents.

Velocity's after school karate program in Pompano Beach/Boca Raton works as an extension of its regular classes/lessons. Participating students (ages 5-13) will first work on their studies, monitored by staff, prior to the daily martial arts classes.

With this week long program, parents can be assured of:

To help with parents' busy schedules, Velocity Martial Arts also volunteers free transportation for all its after-school program students. For those looking for an After School Program in Lighthouse Point, Pompano Beach, or Fort Lauderdal, you can enjoy Velocity Martial Arts' Pompano Beach After School Program. Pickup is immediately following school dismissal, at which time students are brought to Velocity.s training facility for an afternoon of studying, training, and games. In addition the Do-Jang closes at 10pm every day, Monday through Friday. Parents can pick up their kids anytime before close WITH NO PENALTY FOR LATE PICK-UP!

A typical day at Velocity's after school program includes:

1. Pick up from school
2. Snack time
3. Study time (academics first)
4. Martial arts/Karate class
5. Organized martial arts games until pickup

This is an important point for parents and students. Know that although the after-school karate program is certainly fun for its students, it.s not only fun and games. Rather, the program stresses school work. Velocity Martial Arts - American Top Team of Pompano Beach/Boca Raton is truly invested in the academic progress of all its students. Again, the lessons learned in martial training are meant for all aspects of life - in particular, school.

Velocity Martial Arts' After School Programs in Pompano Beach, Boca Raton, Lighthouse Point, and Deerfield Beach is welcoming students offering instruction in a number of martial styles including Taekwondo, Karate, Mixed Martial Arts (MMA), Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ), Yoga, Muay Thai, and Capoeira. For kids, the focus is on Taekwondo and Karate. Fees are all-inclusive (free transportation) and note that there are no additional fees for students to attend on early-release days or school employee-planning days. No penalties for late pick-up.
